Overseas Visits

The school organises regular overseas visits for both Junior and Senior Departments

The Junior Department regularly arranges visits to France.

The Modern Languages and Art departments combine forces to take older girls to places such as Paris and Barcelona to practise their languages and appreciate the culture and art of our European neighbours.

A ski trip is organised every 2 or 3 years.  In 2005 they went to Les Deux Alpes and in 2008 to Courchevel. 

The PE department takes teams on tour both in the UK and abroad. Recent Netball tours have been to Malta and Cyprus. In July 2006, the Netball teams went to Barbados.

In July 2007 girls enjoyed an exhausting and exhilarating trip to a multisports activity centre in southern France.  Pupils stayed in luxury chalet tents and learnt a wide range of new skills.  It was a truly memorable trip with each pupil developing her abilities and most of all confidence.  A return trip is planned next July and we already have a group of 30 girls signed up for what we are sure will be an equally fantastic experience.
