Curriculum
A broad general curriculum is taught throughout the school, based on the National Curriculum. In the Junior department pupils are taught mainly by their class teacher at the younger end of the age range, but increasingly by subject specialists as they get older. Drama, Music, French, Art and PE are part of the weekly timetable along with the traditional academic subjects. In the Senior school all the girls follow a traditional curriculum in the first three years, including the usual school subjects as well as Latin, Drama and Spanish. GCSE

AS and A LevelA wide variety of subjects are offered at AS and A level in the small and lively Sixth Form at Lavant House. New courses are frequently offered to suit the requirements of individual pupils. The following subjects are usually available AS and A Level:
It is also possible for girls to complete the British Horse Society Assistant Instructor qualification, and the Community Sports Leadership and Higher Sports Leadership Awards. |
