Curriculum

Most girls take 9 or 10 GCSE courses

A broad general curriculum is taught throughout the school, based on the National Curriculum.

In the Junior department pupils are taught mainly by their class teacher at the younger end of the age range, but increasingly by subject specialists as they get older. Drama, Music, French, Art and PE are part of the weekly timetable along with the traditional academic subjects.

In the Senior school all the girls follow a traditional curriculum in the first three years, including the usual school subjects as well as Latin, Drama and Spanish.
